All stops within scheduled production time count as losses. If maintenance should sit outside production time, the production schedule should be changed to reflect that.

Scrap belongs to a production batch. When a report covers only part of that batch, scrap is allocated over overlapping production run time. The allocation does not represent the exact moment each reject occurred.
